We are looking to recruit a Business Development Executive who will be based in Glasgow and who has the combined skills of telemarketing, business development, marketing, promotions and account management to develop corporate business in Glasgow and further afield in Scotland. Main sector is small businesses in professional services sector such as accountants, architects, recruitment companies, marketing agencies, etc.
You will be office based, however 30% of your clients will require a face to face meeting. After researching the immediate vicinity of an area for corporate prospects you’ll mail shot, call , visit and promote the business with energy, flair and enthusiasm. This role will require you to be “hands on” and get involved in many different areas. It will suit a candidate who has perhaps a car rental operational background but who has moved into sales.
This Business Development Executive role will suit a lively and confident individual who enjoys developing business and promotions and the excitement of offering a truly great product to solve a transport solution for inner city businesses. Some account management ongoing.
A vehicle rental background would be an advantage. Must be prepared to visit clients and promote the business in an imaginative way. Candidates must be resilient and be experienced in selling a concept – ideally in car rental or related industry.
Basic salary: £22-25,000 depending on experience 25 days holiday, 40 hour week Monday to Friday. Commission based on revenue generation and revenue from existing business and is paid monthly. OTE £35,000.
